Some Napoleon fireplaces have a maximum steady state efficiency up to 88%, and put out up to 45,000 BTU's. They use exclusive PHAZER™ logs and embers with a high temperature ceramic glass fire viewing window and flexible venting for installation versatility. There is a stainless steel burner for reliability and long lasting performance. All have a stylish design with customizing options. Install a fireplace just about anywhere and control it with the optional, handheld remote temperature control "Advantage Plus". You will add heat without the mess of a real fire place.

There are three types of fireplaces, a Direct Vent, Free Standing, and Insert. An insert sits in the original fireplace and is vented through the original chimney. A direct vent fireplace is vented with its own vent through the wall at the same level as the fire place. You do not see a pipe with this type. A free standing fireplace has a pipe from the top and can vent through a wall or into an existing chimney.
